I love my private lessons with Gretchen!

She is a phenomenal Iyengar yoga instructor, very precise and methodical in her demonstration of the poses. I love the way she gives specific instructions to make sure I’m maintaining perfect alignment and posture so as to get the full benefit and flexibility from the yoga poses we are working on. She has helped me develop a customized home routine for my specific needs and goals. I have had chronic shoulder pain for years which I have been able to bring under control with my home routine. We have taken several private lessons as a family and my 9 year old daughter adores joining me for a yoga lesson in the comfortable cabana, I’m glad she is getting to experience the benefits of yoga from a young age! We end our lessons with a deeply calming meditation and I always leave feeling energetic, relaxed, refreshed and happier - like I was a couple of years younger or had just returned from a mini-vacation and I find myself eagerly looking forward to the next lesson!
